What is a Prop Firm?
A Prop Firm is a company or organization that provides funding for traders by letting them access pools of Capital. These pools of Capital can come from various sources including investors, company funds, trader funds, and more.
How does the funding for traders process work with a Prop Firm?
All Prop Firms have their own ways of providing funding for traders. The majority of Prop Firms tend to have a Challenge Phase where Traders must prove their Trading Skills by having to meet certain requirements. The main reason for these types of “testing phases” is to make sure the company and investor funds are safe in the hands of Traders. Once you are able to prove your trading abilities, Traders get access to real funded accounts where they receive profit splits based on performance.
Fidelcrest provides access to Investor Capital to traders who pass their Challenge. Once Traders pass the Challenge, they move on to a funded verification stage where they can start earning profit splits. After the trader has successfully passed the Verification Stage, they move on to the fully funded professional accounts where they can earn Profit Splits up to $400K.
